White-tailed eagles have returned to the Arun Valley, with breeding recorded in 2023 for the first time in southern England for over 240 years. These spectacular birds have wingspans of up to 2.5 metres and may occasionally be spotted above Amberley Wild Brooks. Sightings are never guaranteed.
